ShadowObjects, LLC is currently seeking a Software Developer (Journeyman Level) in support of NAVAIR at Patuxent River, MD.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
- May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
- May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Requirements:
A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree (or a qualifying substitution as identified in this section).
Substitution:
Six (6) years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
Or
Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
